“L’arte per inciso” atelier is a studio/gallery open to the public, created in 2002 by the artist Angela Matera. Located in one of the most popular streets of Ortigia, it is a little world full of imagination and originality where you can browse through the various

creations of the artist: enamel, oil and acrylics paint canvases, prints made by various etching techniques (etching, linocut, collagraph, woodcut, monoprint), painted porcelain cups, unique and original pieces of jewellery that you can personalize as you like. 

Angela’s work is always changing and evolving, as much as the materials she uses, thanks to her many experiences abroad. 

During spring and winter months you can book one of the many workshop she organizes!

Angela realizes also works on commission and if you are lucky you will find her at work with her etching press!
