Monoprint is maybe one of the most funny and effective printmaking technique! I have often used it in my workshops! Among all the printmaking techniques, it is the closer to painting: it’s essentially a printed painting. It allows you to express your creativity at the best, because it’s a combination of printmaking, painting and drawing. Besides, each print is different from the other. Sometimes I apply papers and fabrics to the print, some other I prefer to maintain the undefined and random effect that is peculiar of this technique.
